I wish to share a few of my long held opinions regarding herb,ganja, marijuana, canabbis or any other name this herbal plant has been given, in the early centuries it was called hemp and provided some of the strongest ropes until the African slaves exposed the use of smoking it which was the custom in Africa to the point where kings would be buried with a portion to take across to the after life, the founding fathers of the USA who crafted one of the most important documents of modern civilization The US Constitution would both grow and smoke herb, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Ben Franklin used to exchange gifts of herb from their personal production with each others similar to what farmers would do in Jamaica before it acquired this huge international commercial value, to me its not surprising that the superior thinkers of the day used herb as unlike rosemary and thyme no one can safely say for what purpose God had created this particular plant but then along the way we find it has multiple medicinal purposes so for those like myself that knows God does not make mistakes I started to wonder if it turns out we have a scenario where a lot of the rulers of the world finding themselves in direct opposition to the creator's intent by this lifelong pursuit towards the impossible task of trying to suppress and eradicate the plant, would'nt it be terrible to discover that destruction of agricultural crops etc. through hurricanes and other disasters is a direct payback for man's destruction of God's creation and intention, if like most of us know "the herb was for the service of man" and a particular herb was for the "healing of the nation" so since man has taken it upon himself to decide one is not allowed to exist in creation is'nt that a very dangerous position to be in Saint Peter was reprimanded just for calling "creeping things" common and unclean so just imagine glaucoma sufferers or those suffering nausea from cancer treatment that rely on herb for relief has God had intended it up against the eradicator that some insist are just protecting their friend big tobacco as they know medicine would beat poison hands down so while persecuting the herb they put a sign on the cigarette that plainly states you are on the way to killing yourself but its cool. For years now The Netherlands has decriminalised the use of herb and so far we have'nt heard of smokers jumping from sky-scrapers or or any other disruption of normal life, to the contrary when these same "false kings" over step their mark thats where they are sent for their comeuppance to The World Court of Human Rights in the Hague, Netherlands someone figured there is more sober thinking going on there, I am yet to see a female rolling around on the pavement or throwing up in a corner after a night out just smoking herb instead people who smoke herb are known to go on to be Presidents, Superior Court Judges, Home Secretarys just imagine the loss to society if they had got caught in the devised crime trap that caught lots of other brilliant minds and ruined their future progress, because of this constant criminalising it is not always a natural plant we are dealing with but now we have people manipulating the natural process to create a desired effect for commercial reasons which to the in-experienced who cant tell the difference can really cause harm as with everything else you have to hide and do. As a Rastafarian I was never aware of the "getting high" mentality until I visited a foreign country as we would congregate remove our hats recite a couple Psalms and light the chalice throughout the session the discussion would vary from the bible to world affairs nothing negative was allowed in speech or action a far cry from the depiction all herb smokers are placed....Peace
